Slice of Italy

Slice of Italy became my main restaurant to go to for any good meal. Their food is just perfect. The Arepas, Patacones and my favorite Un Pepito mixto. Their customer service is like no other. And the price is just right. Slice of Italy keep it up and thank you for bringing the best taste of your kitchen to our table.

I love taking my 6 year old son on adventures during the summer. We live in NYC and he LOVES trains so I decided to take Metro North to South Norwalk. After walking around he said he was hungry so he walked until he stopped in front of Slice of Italy. “ Let’s eat here mommy.” And so we walked in and we were greeted with a BIG WELCOME and smile by a lovely young lady who told us we could sit wherever we wished. He picked to sit outside we were immediately greeted again by the same young lady. He ordered a small pizza and I the antipasto salad the menu had a huge variety and everything looked AMAZING but, we were pressed for time. I noticed they had tamarind juice on the menu which I have NEVER seen at a restaurant before ( as a kid my mom always made me tamarind juice) so I ordered it, unfortunately she told me they had not made any yet but she had passion fruit so I said it’s ok I’ll take the passion fruit. Our food came out and it was delicious and then our LOVELY waitress comes out with a juice (TAMARIND JUICE) and said she rushed to make me a fresh juice so I could have.... NICOLE is her name and she is SUCH a amazing server! I have been in this business for over 30 years and lately it is impossible to find such GREAT service. So if ever you’re in south Norwalk and are long for great food and phenomenal service please eat at Slice of Italy and if you’re really lucky maybe Nicole will be there to take care of you.

Nice Place great workers! Ah so recommended for everyone delicious atmosphere very nice Pizza Delicious food and very cozy atmosphere so if you can take your friends of everybody and can come over here

Everything was delicious. The burgers were cooked just right and juicy. Tostones were perfect! Great for families. We walked over from the aquarium. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Chicken empanadas were very good! Also had the tostones wow so good!

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Norwalk!! It has the best mix ever of venezuelan and italian so there’s always something for everyone and any occasion. The food is delicious no matter what I order I am always happy with my meal! Not only are their meals and appetizers delicious but their platters as well. Staff are amazing and always efficient, friendly and polite. Definitely recommend the blazin buffalo pizza or the heart attack burger!! PS: If you’re looking for a place to grab a quick bite after a late night in sono this is 100% the place to go!!!

Great food whether you order Italian or Venezuelan. Service is always great and the menu has so many options. Highly recommend!!

I just happened upon this gem and will certainly return! The owner and staff are hard working, pleasant and put out really good food! Loved the pizza ! You can tell that they put out a consistent product which these days seems more the exception than the rule! I also love the blend of Venezuelan and Italian menu options!
